Margarita Castro makes traditional Native American coiled pottery. She is the mother of Tirsa and Celia Flores, both accomplished potters.

Margarita lives in the Kumeyaay Paipai community of Santa Catarina, Baja California.

This California Indian artist's work may be purchased at Shumup Ko Hup Indian store in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
